About Performance PT

We use exercise prescription and manual therapy to not only address the components that led to your initial pain or injury, but also to improve your overall strength and fitness so you can return to your normal and sport-specific activities without pain or limitations. Our goal is not a temporary fix, but rather to prime your body to perform at levels greater than before.

Dr. Gavin Schneider

Gavin Schneider, PT, DPT, CF-L1, CSCS, is a licensed physical therapist, CrossFit Level 1 trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. His own sport injuries/rehab motivated him to pursue a career in physical therapy, where he can use his passion for sports rehabilitation, performance training, and injury prevention to help others return to an active lifestyle.

He completed his bachelor’s in exercise science with minors in health science and business administration from the University of Nebraska Kearney in 2014, and his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2017.

Schneider grew up in rural South Central Nebraska. He married his junior high sweetheart, Amanda, and they have a 5 year old daughter. In his spare time you might find him at the gym, the playground, on the golf course, or grilling in the backyard.
